I just found this site and it seems like there is a lot of support here. :grouphug: I just need to lose about 30 pounds or so. I weigh 175 and would like to get down to around 145. I would really like to buddy up with someone who is trying to lose about the same amount of weight. I have tried Weight Watchers and others but nothing seems to work. I work as a medical transcriptionist/editor from my home which is a very sedentary job which does not help in the least. Well, hopefully 2008 will be different....at least I am keeping my fingers crossed and am going to try my best. :D

Why doesn't anything seem to work?

Where do you go off track? Recognizing what the problem was is the easiest way to fix it going forward

are you setting your calories too low your expectations to high?

What's your plan this time around?

Where in PA are you?

Listen to Mal, she's a smart lady. Pretty much all diets work if they're implemented consistently. So I doubt it's a matter of the diet not working. It's something within yourself that's not matched up to what you are shooting for.
