Hi from Mom of 10!

Hello Everyone,

I am from Oregon and have 10 kids to keep me busy and crazy, lol! This forum looks like it has lots of info and support. I am wanting to make a start in a new fitness and diet plan. I have let myself go and get overweight and lazy. I have a membership at the gym but haven't been going. I do really like water aerobics, so I plan and starting with some classes. I am just getting over being sick, so hope to start next week. I guess I'm going to go kind of freestyle on the diet. Like loosely counting calories and adding more veggies and less junk. I definitely am looking for inspiration. If you have an idea of a good place to start reading on the forum, let me know. Any other tips are welcome also. Looking forward to getting to know everyone....
 
Welcome to the forum.

Traditionally the "sticky" threads near the top of each list holds tons of great information - so you could do a lot worse than read those in all the sections that look interesting - particularly the sections on exercise and nutrition.

You might like to check out the clubs and challenges as they can be good places to meet people. Clubs are good to meet people with similar interests or goals and challenges can be quite motivating.

Also you could try starting a diary and maybe visit a few other people in their diaries and see what they are doing...
 
I know that San is getting ready to start a challenge soon that should be very good. Very motivating... Keep an eye on the challenges section for announcements.
