Hi everyone!

I’ve been a long-time lurker in the health and fitness space, but I finally decided to join the conversation here on Fitness.com.

My name is Luke, and I run an independent research project called LukeZen. My focus isn't on 'magic pills' or overnight transformations, but on the boring (yet fascinating) science of metabolic signaling and circadian cues.

I’m currently fascinated by how small behavioral anchors—like a simple 30-second morning ritual—can impact long-term consistency and help people break through those frustrating weight-loss plateaus.

A bit about my journey:

  • I’m a big believer in data over hype.
  • I spend way too much time reading PubMed and OSF technical files.
  • I just finished a 30-day experiment on Citrus-derived bioflavonoids and their impact on 'thermogenic resistance,' which I’ll be sharing in the Supplements section.
I’m here to learn from your real-world experiences and share some of the technical frameworks I’ve been building to help translate complex science into practical daily routines.
