Hello everybody!
I'm Sara and I'm an italian girl living in Milan.
I'm here with you just for two reasons:
-i'm loosing weight
-i want to improve my english!

Your forum is perfect for me! Please forgive me if i'll do some mistakes:blush5:

What can I say about me?
I struggle with my weight since i was a child.
I've never been obese, but i've always been overweight.

I'm 5,1 feet tall (1,55 meters)
In February, the 2th, I weighed 175 pounds (65 kilos)
Today, I weigh 157 pounds (58,7 kilos)
My ideal weight is 133 pounds (50 kilos), so i've to loose 24 kilos.

Please, help me to stay strong and focused on my goal!

Kisses from Italy!
Ciao:jump:

Welcome Sara. The nice thing about forums is to be able to communicate with people all over the world. I shall endeavour to use my best grammar and spelling when i post on your threads. Often i am lazy and make many typos.

Milan is one place i simply cannot create an good visual image of although i hear it has a lot going for it.

Join the weight loss diary branch of this forum and keep a regular record of all that you eat and your exercise for the best results, i think. Well that's what i do and i find it helpful.

Also it is interesting to know what strategy you are going to use in your weight loss program and to write about this in your diary. That is if you know.

Also as you are Italian, and I laaaaaaaaaaaaaaarve Italian food, i'd be really keen to read about any recipes you use especially vegetable dishes. And also if you do eat bad foods, i'd like to hear about those too. I am a foodie at heart but I also love healthy food. Mediterranean foods are my favourite.

I'm Australian. We have a lot a significant Italian influence in our food culture here but its so diluted with everything else.

Welcome, Sara. I'm new to this site as well. Your thread was the first one I read...a positive one at that! Walk, walk walk...I think you have that opportunity in beautiful Milan. That will help you achieve your goal!
"Ciao",
Kristine
