Hi everyone,

My name is Pam and I am a 38 year old SAHM to a wonderful two year old son.

I have struggled with my weight all of my life and have lost significant amounts 0 75 pounds, 90 pounds....only to always gain it back and more on top of it.

I hit my heaviest at 370 (I'm 5'5") last year and decided enough was enough. My hubby and I both started our journey in January - I was 359.4 then - and I have lost 45 pounds so far, but have a long way to go.

I'd love to find some support and friendship here!

Welcome to the forum! I am just as new as you. I would love to see the progress of your journey in the future. Good luck and stay motivated! :)

heya, welcome to the forum! your definitely in the right place and congrats on the weight loss so far! that's an amazing job! there's lots of useful info in the stickies and everyones very kind and encouraging.

i can actually identify with you 100% because i also estimate my highest weight to be around 370 (in early january), and when i finally bought my own weighing scale in march weighed in at 350 and now i'm at 317....it's been a long road and i still have a long way to go but i'm starting to get back confidence in myself little by little. i hope your journey is going well too.

there's lots of stuff on the forum like clubs, challenges and diaries where you can post your daily activities nutrition/exercise-wise and others can encourage you and vice versa.

all the best xoxo:seeya:

Hi Pam

Welcome Pam

Very new myself, 38 years of age and hoping to turn my eating habits around for good, I have lost weight before but like you said, always managed to put it back on and I feel totally miserable when I do. Time to change. I don't feel I have ever addressed the eating issue, for emotions, boredom etc etc etc and I hope and have great faith that this forum will help me.

I hope it does you too and just try and picture in your mind, how you want to be, how much nicer you will feel in yourself, how motivated you will be as time goes on. You can do this and I wish you well.
