hi first time fitness guy :)

hi i recently (3 months ago) started working out for the first time in 3 years, i started with push ups and running everyday for a 2 months i went from 10-65 after that i gained cofidence i bought a pull up bar which i used everyday, and continue to use, im currently up to 11 good form neutral push ups and rencently joined a gym and started lifting weights.
my biggest problem is my diet, i only drink water, no processed food but im not sure if my diet is good. i eat 2 bowls of porridge( oatmeal) with milk for breakfast and drink 2 pints of water, normally have soup for lunch with brown bread, and for tea a plate full of vegtables with rice and meat also i side plate of salad. i know this is fairly healthy but im hoping to gain a 6 pack and self cofidence. any meal plan advice would be aprrecitated.

forgive me terrible spelling im dsylexic :)

Good job!
You have a really healthy meal plan.
I would add a little more protein for strength, muscle, and even fat loss (if you don't take too much)
You can try lean meat or protein shakes.

Hey timtom, welcome to the forum!

There are a couple of threads that might help get you started:

For the nutrition aspect of things, this might be a good link for you to read:

I know it's a lot of reading... definitely come back and ask questions. One of the best things that you could do is to start a journal in the journal section... that way we can tweak your plan as you go!
