Hi Everyone

Hi everyone,
I have been lurking here for a few days just reading some of the recent posts. I figured i would introduce myself. I'm 26 and just trying to get into better shape. My current goal is to lose some body fat and gain a little muscle at the same time, but i'm more concerned with burning off some excess fat.
I am still working on the best routine for me, but generally my routine is as follows. I try to mix up the exercises as much as possible to keep things diferent.

Monday – Legs
Tuesday - Chest
Wednesday - Back
Thursday - Shoulders
Friday - Arms

I also run in the morning about 3 times a week. (1.5-3 miles depending on how i feel)

I work as a government contractor and spend about 8 months of the year at sea so my diet is pretty much at the mercy of the cooks on the ship, but there are normally healthy choices so i would say my diet is as good as it could be.

I will post up some pics in a bit. I have been taking photos weekly to keep track of my progress and I am excited to see where it goes from here. Looking forward to talking to you all in the future.

Yeah, I normally do about 5-6 months at a time then i am off for 3-4 months then back out for another 5-6 months. It is a lot of time to be away, but i really enjoy having the long periods off. It allows me to ride my bike and travel. Luckily we have a gym so I can at least keep in shape(somewhat) while i am out. Thanks for the welcome.

for the most part it's not bad but there are days when i can't do anything because the weather is too bad. i just try to do core exercises on those days.
