Hi everyone :waving:

My name is Carolyn and i live in the UK. I am 5'4" and weigh around 16 1/2 stone. I am desperate to lose weight but my will power seems to have been out of action recently. I joined a gym on wednesday and i've gone both yesterday and today. Obviously there is no difference straight away but i am hoping to keep this up. My main problem is my dangerous addiction - food. So i've joined today thinking that the time when I am most likely to pig out is when i am sat using the internet in the afternoon, so i've joined this forum in search of some inspiration which will help me stay away from the fridge. Please help!:seeya:
 
Hi Carolyn. Welcome to the forum.

ONe thing that I could suggest is that you keep a stash of healthy snacks around for when you feel the need to snack. It's not quite the same as a package of chips or whatever ... but some celery or an apple or anything to keep you from reaching for unhealthy food is a technique that helped me a lot.
