Hi everyone!

I've been sick with strep the last three days and it's funny even with all of the ice cream and popsicles I have eaten to try and calm my throat down I have managed to lose three more pounds. Less than one pound to go until I reach my second mini-goal.

woooh yeahh i hope you reach your minigoal soon^^
im back =P
and sorry to hear about your strep D:
yeahhh i kinda bummed out with all my working out.
but i managed to lose a good 6ish pounds since
i left =]

wow looks like you are well on your way!smart move loosing before u join the service! I joined the army when i was still a fatty and PT was a nightmare. I couldn't even walk to my mailbox much less run up a hill in SC in the middle of July! Keep up the good work!

I can't believe the luck I have had this weekend. I went to Kmart for the heck of it and ended up buying an elliptical for 20 bucks. Now I just have to figure out how to put it togethor.

lol ive kinda been researching basic training...
haha military.com said something in an article about
basic fitness before going should be.......
-15 pull ups
-100 situps
-100 pushups
& being able to do sever miles at once... 6-8 minute miles D:

haha i know ive got my work cut out for me =P

I have finally reached my second mini-goal which was to get below 270 and as of this morning I was down to 269.2. Of course I spent over two hours on the cardio machines yesterday and burnt over 800 calories.

My next goal is to be below 260, I've decided to keep my mini-goals at about a ten pound range. I got up this morning at 5 am and went to the gym and did another hour and ten minutes of cardio and burnt 450 calories, not bad considering that all I had eaten was breakfast which was a total of 135 calories. Of course I had to replenish my energy when I got to work this morning so I ate a cup of diced apples which added 80 calories to my intake. I would love to reach my next mini-goal by next monday but two weeks is probably more realistic unless I can keep making myself get up at 5 in the morning to go to the gym.

I spent over four hours total at the gym yesterday and actually felt like I got a really good workout in for once, I was surprised that I had the stamina to last that long. I have found that my new favorite nautilus machine is the gravitron because I haven't been able to do a pull up since elementary school and with this machine I can and will gradually buildup to where I can life most of my body weight myself.

Well, I worked out for three hours last night and managed to lose .6 pounds and I am currently down to 268.8. Just 118 more pounds to go before I reach the cut off weight for the military. I really wish you could just snap your fingers and it all be gone. I'm not a patient person so it is killing me that it takes so long to lose weight. Why is it you can gain rapidly but losing it takes so long?

I've lost another 0.6 pounds today which puts down to 268.2 now. I had to work last night so I didn't get to workout which really stinks cause I feel horrible when I don't work out.

I know how you feel when you don't get to workout!! Makes you feel like a lazy ass haha. We have lives though and sometimes it just isn't possible to get there. :)

Good job and keep it up!

OMG! I hear you woman. Patience is my BIGGEST downfall.... i lack patience in every aspect of my life... its a terrible thing hahaha... wish i could fix that... im working on it but hey!

Im really proud of myself this time around... typically i last two weeks trying something like losing weight or whatever... this time i am really sticking with it because i am finally SERIOUS about it!!!

Way to go with that nice lonnnnnng work out hehe. Feels great doesnt it!!!

and dont feel bad about taking a night off... lots of time i feel lazy and get pissy about it but in all reality... lots of times on those "off nights" as long as i eat well... the next time i go in i have lost weight!!!!

well personally I don't think its good to not take a day off here and there. The last thing you want to do is overtrain or get burnt out. I've read that cheat days are also good. Something about ketone levels. If your body suddenly gets a huge restriction in calories, your body thinks its starving and shuts your metabolism down. It's hard to make myself eat 5 small meals but I know its better for my body. I do feel bummed if I plan to workout and something happens that I don't:banghead:

I used to have to be nearly dragged in to the gym especially if I tried to go before noon and now I go every single chance I get. I am amazed that I have stuck with it this long, I have never lasted this long on a diet before. The most I have ever lasted in the past was two or three weeks and here I am going on my third month.
