Hi everyone,
Like many people on this forum, I have tried to lose weight before and have failed again and again. A couple of years ago I lost about 20 pounds and kept it off for a while, but I gained it all back and then some since entering veterinary school. I'm 24 and live in the cayman islands, but originally from Texas. School is stressful and has certainly contributed to my weight gain, but I'm ready to move forward and leave the excuses behind. I'm currently 6'3 and 280 pounds. My goal is to weigh at least 240 pounds before I enter clinical rotations in September. I want to be healthier and more energetic so that I can handle not only the physical rigor in my profession but also to lead a happier and more fulfilling life. I'm hoping to find support here and hope to provide my support to others as well. I look forward to "meeting" you all! Cheers.
