I've done about all I can do by winging it. I've lost about 40 pounds since April without any support. This page is exactly what I need to keep me motivated. You'll probably be seeing alot of questions from me. Thanks.
 
welcome to the site, ad congrats on the 40lbs - read around the forum, especially he stickied threads and you'll get tons of info.

Do start yourself a diary... it's a good way toget support and for the forum community to get to know you better.

What methods have yo used to drop the 40 ad how long did it take you - how much further do you intend to go?
 
I cut out most junk food and fast food. Been working out fairly regularly with weights, treadmill and biking. My goal is to gain some muscle mass and get down to around 180 or so. I'll know where I want to be when I get there.

You know we both have about the same goals right now!!! isn't that funny, i'm 218 wanting to get down to 179.
