Hi, Im new to the forum and would like to take a moment to introduce myself. Im a male in my twenties and my weight is really beginning to bug me! At the moment i'm 266LB and would like to drop weight until i feel comfortable with myself and gain some confidence back! I'm setting my aim for 210LB.

I've had many previous attempts, some of which fairly successful-but it always gets the better of me and the weight piles back on. Whats changed? well a few things to be honest, i recently was put off applying for a new job as I was too embarrased to put my weight on the application form, my confidence and self-esteem are at a low, my clothes are tight and i feel a mess! I feel down the majority of the time, my partner managed to loose a lot of weight-and part of me feels i've let her down, I feel almost threatened of other males that she might prefer-i'm sure its all in my head though!

I'm sure you can all relate to what i'm saying. I need to change my life style. There is a history of heart disease and diabetes on both sides of my family-and I can only see me ending up with the same if I continue this route.

I would like to eventually do a parachute jump to celebrate my weight loss-might sound stupid to some, to go through all that and then jump out of an airplane! but it something I'm too heavy to do at this moment in time-and something i can look back at marking the achievement.

So here is to the beginning of my journey to slimness!

i have also had many attempts, but this time i think i found the missing link... im convinced that it is diet, and accurately tracking it... i know im probably sounding liek a salesman for fitday but really its a godsend. there might be others out there, never looked never tried. fit day hit a homerun for me off the bat. give it a try!
