Hi Everyone

First I would like to start by saying Hi to everyone out there. I'm glad to see that I have one thing in common with everyone on here...weightloss.

I made the decision to lose weight when I had trouble bending over...that SUCKS! I decided that I am at a critical point. I can either make the decision to bite the bullet and make a real go of this or I can continue on my path and not be as healthy as I could be. Not a tough decision...right?

Now I am starting to realize how much work losing weight is. Doing it the "right" way and not jumping on the latest fad diet.

I am so grateful that I found this board. I hope it provides a compassionate and caring community outlet where I can turn in my times of desperation. (Gee, sounds serious :D )

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm 26 (soon to be 27), I'm married and have been for 3 years. I have 3 beautiful children. My stepdaughter who is 15, my son who is 8 and my daughter that is 3. They are all wonderful, they all have their moments but for the most part I can't complain.

I quit smoking last February so I've been smoke-free for a year. It was a struggle but I was ready so that helped a lot. Now I intend on being able to say that I am overweight-free by this time next year. I will post my stats on the weight-loss diary portion.

So, in short, I love to talk ;) I am a spunky fun-loving girl and I am super excited to be part of this community. :D

Welcome aboard! I, too, recommend you start a diary.

Congrats on quitting smoking.... that is fantastic. :)
