I need some help please.
Portuguese legislation has forced me to retake my fitness certification. So I am hitting the books to meet the deadline.
The latest assignment involves drawing up a training proposal for a fictional client.
What I need help with is “running the numbers” for the following scenario. Anyone with fitness related expertise could look at the scenario and make comments I would be much obliged.
Data:
38 year old male, Arterial Pressure = 134/87 mmHg, e Glycolic Index = 110 mg /dL.
Resting Heart Rate = 66bpm, Mass = 85kg.
Body Mass Index = 2.69 (Borderline Overweight) needs to lose 7 kg to reach target weight 78kg.
Cardiovascular Testing Data
1 Mile Walk = 14.37min
1 Mile Run = 8m33s
Heart Rate after test: 147bpm
VO2Max= 42,5 ml/kg.min (Rating = Good)
Muscular Endurance Test Data
Push Up Test = 26 Push Ups
Curl Up Test = 38 Curl Ups
1RM Supine Press = 80 x 1 …. 80
1RM Leg Press = 120 x 2 = 123
Scenario:
I must outline a training program which addresses the following:
Client works 6 days with 2 off days, shifts alternate between morning, afternoon and midnight. Hence gym time is hard to come by. The program must: cover the initial 1 month of training; provide a balance of Strength and Cardio Training and; provide a balance between Free Weights, Machines and Body Weight Exercises.

Goals are simply to "loose weight", "increase health" and "lower blood pressure".
