Hi everyone! Newbie entering

Hey guys and gals! My name is Jennifer and I am of course on my journey to lose weight.
I started gaining weight from bad diet and pure laziness when I was about 10 years old. By the time I was 17 I weighed 235 pounds (absolutely the only fat person in my family, even now)

Through diet and a crap load of sweating I'm now 165. I'm 5' 6" and REALLY want to weight 125-130.

I'm following the Clean diet and eating 5-6 times a day (small meals). I had hit a plateu for about 3 years but recently switching my diet I lost 9 pounds. I'm hoping I can continue my journey now with support from this forum :)

I'm also doing interval workouts, boxing and yoga.

My biggest fear at this point is losing all the weight and being left with loose skin everywhere. I'm 25 years old and I'm hoping I didn't wait until too late for my skin to tighten up.

After striving for SO long to get a tight and lean body I'm afraid that might not be reachable.

Am I destined to be flabby forever?! Hopefully not....

Hi Jennifer... I too am new to this forum. I recently lost 40lbs and have about that much left to go before I am at my goal weight of 130.
I started a thread earlier today looking for advice, but haven't received any responses yet...so now I am browsing through other threads looking for info. to help me with a workout routine.

Hi! I'm also hovering at around 165! I was beginning to plateau, but then started to do interval training and it has been amazing. There's so much on this forum which has helped me and I'm sure will continue to help me :D

I did the same thing, I was stuck for a long time at one weight, when I switched to eating 5 small meals a day and interval training I've now lost 11 pounds in 5 weeks! :)

Yay for interval training lol

Hi Jennifer,

I am currently working out 6 days a week, using the treadmill and bike. I have also been doing 100 sit ups a day, I know thats not alot but I am working up to more.
I am also on this diet plan called Lindora. Kind of like Atkins, not as extreme though.

Hows the weight loss going?

I've lost 12 pounds so far! I know I would be losing more but I still snack a little too much at night and have a few too many treats. Nothing big but a few tootsie rolls add up in calories over time!
I'm REALLY going to try and cut all of that out to lose more.
But I'm happy so far with 12 pounds. I had a kind of bad week with a knee injury and was afraid I wasn't going to lose anything when I stepped on the scale and saw that I lost 2 pounds I started crying :)
A happy cry of course
