I'm posting this as I'm new here and want to reach out to you all. I love socialising and meeting new people which is something I haven't been able to do much off lately, with recurring lockdowns and tightening restrictions. I am 27 year old mum of 2 my partner has 3 girls also living with us so I am far from lonely. However I have been dieting alone for some time now lost 4 stone gained back some... its been an an ongoing battle!! I feel like finding some like minded people with the same goal of weight loss will help me on my journey.
Yoyo-d for a while, then lost 20 kg, now back to yoyo-ing but at a healthy weight this time. I guess this is what maintenance looks like? Over the years I´ve found that what works for me most of the time is eating a relatively high amount of calories (crash-diets crash me, not my weight) in mostly whole foods with a lot of fruit and veg thrown in. I still have times, like this week, where I really struggle to get anything done and just want to live of icecream and chips, but they occur less often, last less long, and aren´t as intense as they used to be. So all in all I´m winning and keeping my weight at a level I´m happy with. What´s your current plan?
