hi im new to the site and im gonna start a journal of my weightloss hopefully!!!!. ill start by telling u im 5 10 and weigh about 279lbs and i want to lose about 100lbs. it would really be helpfull if anyone who has done this can share there story or somebody point me in the right direction. i basically pilled on the 100 excess pounds since my son was born 2 years ago we found out he was blind and i suffered from depression and just became unactive but i want to do this now and kickstart my life as ive lost 2 years. ive had a lokk at the south beacj diet which looks good, any views from you guys would be great on the south beach diet. im gonna post a pic up of me on the weekend which im dreading as im so ashamed :ack2:. so anyway way it would be great for any support and help and hopefully i can do this as i dont know how i can carry on as i am i feel as if im a binge eater. :auto:
 
Welcome to WLF!!!! You made your first step by joining. This is a great site for advise and encouragement. I know you can do this!

Your Stats were about the same as mine were, so this can be done.

Hey nickberry, welcome to the forum!

You might find inspiration in the weight loss diaries, before & afters, and even the new mom's section (you might find alot about losing baby weight, but you might be able to find others who have had difficulty losing weight as new parents in general).
