My name is Emil, I am 26 years old and this winter I've started my weight loss journey through hiking. It has been a hard and sometimes painful experience but so far I have lost abound 48kg (100 lbs) and I am 2/3 of the way to my goal or around 80kg (176 lbs). When I started I was 148kg (326 lbs) and I found it very difficult to do any physical activity. Yesterday, my scale indicated 100kg (220 lbs) again for the first time in almost 8 years. I am very proud of that! I love hiking and it has saved my life. I have started a blog about hiking and weight loss for whoever is interested in taking a similar approach. [blog link removed]

Well done on losing about 100 pounds. You have done brilliantly.

It is great that you have found hiking... Walking literally saved my life in exactly the same way.

Hi, Omega! No problem. My fault, I didn't read the rules. I will check the forum in more details the coming days. I have been busy working and hiking. Is there a section where we can post pictures? I would love to share some! All the best!
