Hi
I'm new here and just call me CK
My goal is to lose weight and stay healthy

my current weight is 195 lbs
the smallest number I ever achieved was 166 lbs like 3 years ago but it keeps increasing after that until now.
It makes me feel not comfortable with my body and always afraid about health problems.

I am 5'3 in height and my weight goal is around 145~140 lbs by end of this year. I don't know how hard it would be but I like to try myself. But one thing always bother me is about how to start the weight loss program as I always fail to do so.

I'm hoping for some advice and support from everyone.

dont we all wanna lose weight? i think starting the hardest part but then it gets easy.
im 5"3' and i weigh 85kg
I work out almost everyday for an hour and i am on a low carb diet, basically, no rice, no bread (jst brown bread and brown rice) less pasta and no oil.
mostly boiled and steamed vegs n chicken and salad and soups.

thats a good way to start. make sure u drink LOADS of water and hv healthy snack in between meals to keep ur metabolism going

Welcome cku from another newbie.

I started losing weight when I bought a calorie counting book and didn't go over my daily allotment of calories. I hope you find your way. I’m just now starting to exercise. I think calories counting is more important. Think of calories like money in your check book. You would never just blindly spend and not know how much money you had in your checking account would you? If you eat too many calories you are in overdraft. I hope that helps a little.

Hi Zandola...I'm a carbs lover especially rice. I can have my 3 meals a day with all rice.Tried to lessen my rice intake but it was really really hard! Still trying to get over that.
May I know how much and how long you lose weight by decreasing your carbs intake and exercising?


Hi Ryc...Carefully counting my calories intake is what i feel the most troublesome in dieting process.But yeah I've no right to complain right now.I must try every possible way to lose weight healthily.
