Hi, I will start with the basics.

Name: Ryan.
Age: 23.
Location: England.
Weight: 19st
Height: 5'9"
Goal Weight:10.5

So, hi. I guess it is pretty obvious as to why I signed up to this site.

I know that I am overweight and I know the reasons behind it but I am not going to dwell on them, instead I have decided to try and turn every negative into a positive.

For example, being overweight is, in itself, a negative thing however, on the positive side, it is a valuable life lesson that I will forever remember.

Any tips on exercises I could do around the home etc would be useful as I feel a bit too embarrassed at the moment to go to the gym. I at least want to lose some weight before going there.

One other reason I signed up is because I am useless at setting goals. I generally either set overly ambitious goals or ridiculously low goals. So I am hoping for a little bit of help with that.
 
Hi Ryan! I'm a newbie too so if you ever wanna just talk (I know it can get rough occasionally) send me a message or whatever. I'm not too excited to go to a gym either. Actually I won't right now. I've been walking at the park early in the morning. There really isn't many people there first thing in the morning. And at home I've been working on sit ups and pushup and lunges. There are all kinds of exercises you can do at home and the best part, you don't have to worry about people. I've been keeping a count of my calories (I was completely surprised how many calories some things have) and drinking lots of water. As long as you have faith in yourself, I believe you can succeed in what you want.
