Thanks so much. Its good to get an answer from someone so quickly. I read a bit of your journal. I was a nurse, dont work anymore, disability.
I am in the states, and still use pounds and feet and inches. until I reached my 40's my weight was always pretty stable, and if I did need to lose some it was easy. NOT now! But also not active like I used to be. I have been ill alot, one thing after another, gallbladder removed, 2 sinus surgeries, etc. The specialist for my sinus problem, says that fatigue is a major complaint of sinus problems.
Anyways, I plan to count calories, and exercise, I have a stationary bike, which is the easiest exercise for me. I plan to eat 1700 claories a day, which is something I find easier to stick to than a very low calorie diet, and to exercise on bike 1-2 hours per day. The weather is turning nicer, so hopefully I can get some walking in as well.
I get depressed easily, so thats part of my battle. But I can work thru that, and exercise helps alot. I dont sleep well, either, so I plan to use my calories from 12am to 12am the next morning. Makes it easier for me.
I rarely EVER eat out, so there I dont have to worrry, but I do like to go out or have cocktails at home, once or twice a week, so I have to take that into account.
I do eat what most would consider very healthy, lean meats, salads (no dressing), etc. Not much of a sugar fan, thankfully, one thing in my favor! My doctor did say i could use green tea supplements which do help curb my appetite.
Anyways, thanks so much for showing me exactlty how to post! I follow simple written directions so much easier!
Thanks, and success to both of us!!!!!!!
