Hello there! I have already started my weight loss journey with Weight Watchers and was looking for a little more motivation! I am 30 yrs old and my start weight was 293. In the past 2 months I have droped down to 275 through diet and have just recently started to walk and do some very light strength training. I have a long way to go but I am positive I can do it :D

glad to see you're jumping on the fitness wagon!! :) sounds like you're off to a great start. i'm currently at 249 (down from 269 in nov'06) and i want to get down to (at least) 180lb by my bday (oct 27th)... so it sounds like we have similar goals!

i find it hard to stay motivated too... i just keep reminding myself that all the hardships associated with losing weight (gymming, cutting sweets out of your diet, etc.) are temporary... but the benefits will last a lifetime!

keep your eyes on the prize :)

Nice work!! Welcome to the forums!!!

I like Weight Watchers... you wont hear me say that about any other fad diet :p ... but weight watchers really tries to teach the healthy lifestyle aspect... and if you are a meeting attendee then after you reach your goal weight the weekly fee is waived.
