Hi guys just wanted to introduce myself.

i am 6'2" 22 years old. and at my heaviest i weighed 304 pounds. I spent my whole life being super fit hockey player, and quit hockey when i was 20 and gained 118 total pounds since. I didn't decide to step in till my birthday which was 11/28. I stepped on the scale... weight: 297.0 .... I have a goal and I have been and will continue to work at it till I reach under 200! Right now I am at 284. I had a drastic change in diet to start and will continue it. No midnight snacks, no fast or fatty foods, and exercise. Everyday I have a big breakfast. Ussually 3 scrambled eggs and 2 pieces of Turkey Bacon with a piece of toast. I eat fruit or veggies through the day, or have a power bar of some sort. Than have a lean cuisine or one of those meals for dinner. I think the quick 13 pounds is because of my drastic change in diet first. Next I develop a routine of running 20 minutes a day and I have a 6lb. medicine ball routine that really works me hard core that I got from Mens Health. I hope to continue my steady weight loss but I know to achieve a good physique and healthiest possibility i will need persistance, quit smoking and slow down my pop intake. Any help or encouragement is welcome!!! THANKS :willy_nilly:

Great start, good plan, and sounds like you are determined. Your story sounds familiar!! Check out "Burnseeds" thread, or mine. We talk a bit of hockey! Welcome to the forum.

Welcome and congrats on a great start. Like some other poster said, it looks like you're determined to succeed. With that attitude you will reach your goal before you know it.
