Hi Everyone,

I have just turned 30, my husband and i have finsihed having children ( we have 4) and I have a fair bit of weight to loose. I am currently 30kgs overweight and have tried a few different 'diets'. None of which have really worked.
I am going to get it right this time or die trying!
I am not joining a gym mainly because I find them very boring places. I prefer to go for a walk or to swim at the local pool instead, I have also been reading up about nutrition and what i should be eating. Unfortuneatly I have gotten very lazy over the last 10 years and am breaking that nasty habit now.
Hopefully I can get some support and help here to guide me along the way. I am looking forward to getting to know you all in the future.

Tania

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Aussie !

My first suggestion would be to take a squiz at the sticky posts and then start a diary to help keep you on track :)

Welcome Tania! Good advice from Trsylver. A food diary really helps to keep you accountable. I use fitday to keep track of what I'm consuming and what I'm expending.

Exercise can be as simple as putting one foot in front of the other.

Good luck!
