HI all

My name is Jodi. I am 31 yrs old, a mother of 6 kids.. I usually get this response at that  We live in QLD Australia.

I have been battling the weight buldge since child number 4. I have lost all my weight to put it back on with another pregnancy. I dont believe I am seriously overweight in the strictest terms. I am 163 cms and I weigh 81.5 kilograms ( or 179 pounds if I have done my math properly, personally I like the sound of 81.5kgs better :p )

I started a herbalife weightlose program last week. I also joined a gym in which I have done 4 sessions in the past 7 days. Mainly cardio.
I weighed 81kgs last monday and today it seems I have put on a half a kilo.

I have done all the "right" things with this diet. Not cheated. Around 3-4 litres of water a day, exercising and I put on weight:(
Everyone is saying, hey, its muscle, you'll lose the weight soon.

Anyway, thats enough with my novel. Hopefully be chatting away soon and offering support where I can as well:)

Thanks newbride02

I am feeling pretty low today. after being very very selective with what I have been eating, drinking 3-4 litres of water a day at least and doing cardio at the gym in 5 sessions over the past 7 days I am devastated I have put on weight and not lost. Even managed to put more cms on the hips:(

It sucks

Hey and welcome.

Don't be put off, sometimes when you start off on your weightloss it can take a while for the effects to kick in. I certainly found that myself.

Just stick with it; if you're eating sensibly, (keeping to slimming foods, not skipping meals etc) and excercising hard you can't fail. You just have to stay motivated and keep on going. :)

Hey Jodi
I have exactly the same problem - have been going to the gym for the past 7 years and gained almost 10 kgs. The only time i loose weight is when i stay away from the gym. no trainer can comprehend my problem.
with herbalife i lost 3 kgsstaying away from the gym. then went back to the gym and the next kg took forever to come off.
I've now learnt the formula though - dont eat after the gym - have the shake.
i am seriously considering quitting the gym - just going for a good ol walk and doing yoga/pilates. all this gym bull about muscles is not cutting it with me anymore.
i have a prob with my hips and thunder thighs !
Would love to hear from you
ciao

Hi, I just do exercise everyday but I have set my goal to lose weight about two pounds for two week, I prefer lost weight in natural way

I think the one thing that everyone reminds me of when I am down is the fact that it is better to lose weight slowly. It is better to lose weight gradually as the body will get used to such changes...

Good luck!!:D
