Hey!

I'm Brendan (there that's a good start :p ) I'm 22 and I weigh about 120kg/265lb

I've finally decided to do something about my being overweight. It's something I've struggled with my entire life and it hasn't got any better since losing my dad and my girlfriend of 5 years... But enough is enough!

So I guess this forum will help me keep track of my progress and help me maintain my focus :)

You should probably start a journal. This will keep you accountable and it's the best way to get to know people.

How do you plan on starting your weight loss plan?

Thanks Steve. To start off I've gone through my fridge/pantry/freezer and thrown out all the junk and went down this morning and joined my local gym... All I need to do now is avoid temptation, maintain my focus and try and regulate my meals until it becomes 'more natural' and less like a chore... Thanks for the tip too. I'll jump on and start a journal now...
