Hello All! My name is Heather and I'm from South Jersey. I started my diet about three weeks ago and I lost 20 pounds already. I've cut out soda completely and have cut back alot of junk food. I'm checkin labels more often and sort of just watching my calorie intake.

Hopefully you're exercising and eating what your body needs. Awesome for getting rid of pop. It's so not good for you.

Actually, I'm getting back on the excerside wagon. I've been making excuses for way too long: the weather isn't good, I have no time, yada Yada yada! So, I went out today and bought billy blanks boot camp workout and I'm actually waiting for my boyfriend to get here so we can go walk the neighborhood. I'm gonna stop at the drug store in front of my house and get one of those pedometer things and start tracking my steps!
 
I need to get one of those step counters myself. I get obsessed with numbers sometimes (horrible at math though), and I think it would be fun to challenge myself with how many steps I can do while walking during exercise. It would also be easier to tell how many miles I've gone when I don't use a machine.

I know how it is to fall off the exercise wagon. It happens to me, and is currently beginning to happen right now because of finals. I just have to make time in my schedule and get it done for my health and so I can lose weight.

I'm so glad I found this forum! I need this kind of support and to find people who are experiencing what I'm experiencing. I guess my friends haven't been the most supportive as I thought they were going to be and it was making it harder!
