HI all! I'm new here!

Hello everyone!!

I'm new to this site but certainly not new to losing weight, being overweight, gaining weight, you get the idea.

Anyway, I'm 30 years old \ Just turned 30 in May - My all time high weight was about 290 pounds... that was back in early 2004. I lost about 70 pounds and got down around 220 and kind of hovered there for oh.... 2 years!!!

Anyway, hovering at 220 turned into now having gained 30 pounds... I'm sitting today at about 253.

I just wanted to introduce myself, I want to contribute here and post my thoughts, my progress, my journey - hope to make new friends too.

Welcome to the forum!

Good for you for retaking control! I started at 257, so we have a similar starting weight, what's you're goal weight?

You might consider starting a diary :D
 
Hi M! Thank you for the warm welcome!

My goal weight is around 20% body fat...

I'm about 5'7 and I'd like to get to that around 150 with lots of muscle :)

Thank you again for the welcome! My first goal is simply to get back into the 220s...

Then I want to get below 200.

Baby steps!
 
Welcome Brandy- you should have no problem achieving your goals... feel free to start up a diary to record your triumphs and your challenges.. and have fun!
 
Hi Brandy!! Great to "meet" you! I'm pretty new to this place too...I lurked around a while before joining. :p You've done it once and I KNOW that you can do it again!
