Hi All I am new here... 116 pounds lighter and still going

I started by making a decision Jan 4 2008 and I have lost NOTHING and gained a life. I am 116 pounds lighter and my life is and never will be the same. I went from living on the couch and being a slob to running the Denver half marathon last Sunday 13.1 miles in 2:27. I had a one OF a million Transformation not one IN a million. Simple planned steps... all add up.
Transformation is simple not easy.

I chose the name CoachShane because I had many coaches through my Transformation... they support, motivate and listen... I just want to pay it forward. What I did can be done over and over and it begins with a decision to be different.

Hey, sorry your thread seems to have been skipped over, but losing 115 pounds is something to be very very proud of. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

So how did you achieve your weight loss? What was your diet like?

And how amazing did it feel to finish a half-marathon?
 
The site is interesting because lots of information and lots of people working really hard.
I used the Bill Phillips Transformation Program.
In a nutshell eating 6 times per day equal portions protien and carbs and EXCERCISE!
Simple just not easy. How do I post my before and after pictures??
 
Wow, awesome job, you must feel wonderful, being able to do things that may have seemed impossible at the beginning. Good for you! Michelle
