Basically i joined a gym about 3 weeks ago and for the past 3 months since january 1st 2011 i made it a new years resolution to sort out my weight and diet. I started the diet in January and cut out all the bad stuff i dont drink alcohol, or eat chocolate, crisps, sweets, biscuits, fizzy drinks. Its just water, bran, soup and healthy choices. First month i lost quite a bit of weight and then the following two months there wasnt any major difference maybe 1 pound less so i decided to get myself to the gym and combine diet with exercise. Ive decided that for weight loss i would just start off doing cardio for a month and im now 3 weeks into doing just cardio and noticing a difference. Im looking to start weight training soon and i also added swimming to my membership and do swimming after a workout. I was going 4-5 times a week and then i was running out of energy and getting tired so ive now realised the importance of resting and now i do alternative days and noticed i perform much better. What is my goal, i suppose its mainly just to lose the belly, and because of my height and weight hopefully that should dissapear soon, once the belly is gone and my body fat is quite low im hoping the weight training will make me more toned and defined and obviously improve my strength.
