My name is Fred, I've been "Big Fred" all my life. I'm an 18 year old male. I'm 6'0'' and I weigh around 350 pounds. I have high blood pressure (I take 3 medications for it daily - Bystolic, Amlodipine Besylate, and Benazepril ) and I have an irregular heartbeat. I take Slow Mag as a supplement on the advice of a cardiologist.
Most of my life I lived with my mother and step-father. My Step-Father passed away from diabetes related renal failure in 2010 and less than a year later my mother passed away from advanced colon-rectal cancer. I was sent to live with my older brother, but (and I'm not trying to be a troll - I'm 100% serious) he was killed in an auto accident less than three months after I moved in with him. I have an older sister but she lives in a nursing home because she is mentally retarded and also a heavy person. So much so that Neither our older brother nor I could care for her appropriately.
Now I'm on my own. I more or less have no friends or family and I've never really been on my own before. I'm depressed and bored a lot. All I seem to do is eat. And when I'm not eating I'm sleeping. My weight is killing me. I can feel it doing so. But I don't know how to lose the extra pounds.
If I had some sort of gameplan that said eat this and this for breakfast and lunch and dinner, walk X amount everyday for exercise. I could do that. I am a really good cook (too good) and I know my way around the kitchen. But I can't create that sort of plan on my own. I've asked my doctor and she just sort of shrugged and said "Well eat more fruits and vegetables and walk." That was good advice, but it doesnt really help.
I receive disability. I don't have a lot of money. And bad food is cheap and so thats what I live on. But I need to change and soon.
If anyone has any ideas for a sort of daily routine I'd sure appreciate it.
