I'll look forward to meeting you all soon!!
I'm off to browse the boards now!!
Hope you are all well!!

Thankyou. yeah i should of probably put that part in :)

I have to admit i have not been on the scales in a loooong time i am scared to look.... I really dont want to get stuck into the rut of checking the scales everyday which i KNOW i would do... so i have been approximate with my weight....
I would say i am about 14 stone.... and at only 5ft 2.... it shows.... I have always been curvy.... A small ass is something i will never have but i am ok with that lol

I would love to go down a few dress sizes... i am not wanting to be stick thin.. just healthy and confident in how i look!!

I have only been "dieting" for a few days now... and today was my first day of working out but i feel good and confident that i can stick it out....

Having a young daughter to look after you would think that i am constantly on my feet and burning off those calories, but i find that we sit around all day eating junk and not really doing a lot.... plus being on the computer (I have other commitments online) i am sitting down a lot....not burnign off what i do eat!!

so erm yeah ramble ramble.. thats me!! :D

Congrats on the first official day of working out! What a step in the right direction.

I have a love hate relationship with my scale. I end up weighing daily, but I track it. That way I am watching the number over time instead of just comparing today with yesterday. It seems to work for me. I do know its a personal thing & some people are better weighing weekly, monthly, never, whatever.

Maybe you should take some measurements to compare to later. That can sometimes show better progress than just the number on the scale.

Good luck.

I am going to do that yeah, thankyou for telling me about you too!!

Good luck to you too!!! :D

Google has a tool that you can use called the Google 15 also Traineo.com is another option that shows a chart graphic & tells you the ups & downs. I am using pounds, so it might be a touch different if you are tracking stones. I'm sure there is a conversion or something similar.
