Heya folks - am I doing the right stuff?

Hey guys I'm from Malta, 20years 5"2 weighing about 78kilos (overweight to obese)
I have quite some bodyfat though I'm starting a new regime at the gym and I'd like to know if its too much, cos fatigue is taking its toll on me.

I start off by doing 45minutes on the elliptical crossramp (machine says I burn off 700cal) - about 5.5km
Then start some weight training, I do a target set of muscles each day, 4 machines with 4 sets of 12 each, sometimes 15 reps if I have enough energy.
Thing is when I start doing weights I don't have much energy left, but I'd rather do the cardio first to burn off the bodyfat, heard something about burning lactic acid if i do weight training first.
Then i proceed to do 100 crunches, and another 30minutes of cardio, brisk walk, about 3.5km (burn off about 200 calories)

What kind of food should I go for? I hate vegetables, I mostly end up with chicken breast and potatoes and/or bread, which I know is bad, can anyone point me to some good diets?
