Hey everyone,

So I figured it was time to stop lurking around the site and introduce myself!

I have recently decided to drop some weight. When I started I was 194lbs, but within a couple weeks I am down to 188lbs., so that has me inspired already! I am 5'10" and my goal weight is somewhere around 155lbs.

When I finished high school I was around 160lbs., but as a college athlete I added about 20lbs. of muscle. And in the last two years, I haven't done much of anything and my weight slid up to 194lbs!

Anyways, this seems like a great place to get some tips, as well as be inspired by your success stories!!

Hey, great that you decided to post.

I wish you all the luck in losing your weight! Remember that sometimes weight loss starts fast and might slow down a lot in the coming months, so don't let it discourage you if you gradually slow down to maybe 1 pound a week. I lost almost 5 pounds in the first two weeks of my dieting, but now it slowed down to about 1.5-2 a week.
