Hey everyone,

My name's JP. I'm new to this sort of thing. I tend to not like talking about my weight problems, and kinda figured maybe if I opened up about it then maybe I could work towards overcoming my problem. So here goes.

I am 21 years old and have pretty much weighed 220 pounds my entire life. I have always wanted to be smaller than I am, and until recently didn't have any motivation for losing weight. But I now have a boyfriend who loves me for me (which is a first for me). So I have decided that I wanna loose some weight so that I can live a happier and healthier life, and so that I can even better for him. My goal is to weigh in at 150 pounds, if I end up weighing less than that I would be happy too.

We decided to join a gym together and have been going for about a month now. I just thought that maybe I needed some additional support. A place that I can come to and get some feedback, ask questions, and talk with people who have similar goals.
