Hey my names cody and im 14 years old. I joined this site because i need some support when i go on a diet. I feel so fat and it really has been making me feel uncomfortable and unsociable. iv'e been gaining weight since i was in 6th grade and it's been getting worse. I weigh 210 and im 5' 11" and i should be at 175 pounds. I feel like im addicted to food, its almost like i have to have it even if im not hungry its almost like my drug. i eat alot and it suprises me that i dont weigh like 300. i must have a fast motabolism. I go to the gym every other day and work out with my personal trainer but whats the point of me going if im not losing weight? my trainer told me that 75 percent of the way you feel and look and your fitness level depends on what you eat. but whenever i try to diet i always mess up and binge at the end of the day and then i'll say "oh i'll start over tomarrow" but i need to stop because my eating habits are getting worse and im getting really discouraged. i just need someone who can help me get past that first day. well anyways i want to try to go on weight watchers but i haven't got around to doing it. Do you think its a good idea or should i just learn how to calorie count?

Hi Cody. I know that feeling of messing up with good eating, then thinking `I'll start tomorrow / next week / next month'. It's a vicious cycle. If you can get past one day, then two days, then a week it will get easier. Cutting out sugar from my diet made it a lot easier, I think I was having sugar crashes which made me want to eat a lot. Once I had gone a couple of weeks without it, I felt much better.

If you're binging at the end of the day, try to eat dinner, then keep away from food. Go for a walk, come read stuff in these forums, just remove yourself from the food and temptation.

Good work on going to the gym so regularly, it will make it easier to lose weight and you're going to look good when you do lose the weight.

There's plenty of support here, and lots of people going through the same sorts of things as you.

while your younger is better than trying to lose weight in your 30's
:rolleyes: ! You can do it and you came to the right place.Start
and keep a food and exersice diary and update it everyday this
helps keeps track of things.Have a gr8 night Tammy:)
 
Well what you stared here just update it everyday with
the basics meals exersice and what we like to call it chit
chat lol! :)
 
ok so everyday i just go on here and say what i did and what i ate and kinda make this like a blog? lol sounds cool :D
 
Well today was ok. actually it was great! It went by so fast and i didn't even think of food :D and i went to training today and he worked my butt off so hard i threw up LOL... well here is what i ate today :D

breakfast- apple
lunch-apple and milk
dinner- watermelon, grapes and carrots

yah it sounds pretty minimal but there was no good food for me to eat at my house till 3 o clock besides apples lol... i didn't feel hungry all day but i did get the desire to eat...i ate alot of fiber and it seemed to fill me up :D
