Hi. I joined this forum a little less than a year ago, but hardly ever posted at all. I have a different username now because I like this one better than the old one.
Anyway, basically I'm here for the same reason we all are: to finally lose the weight, once and for all.
Some details: I'm 24, female, 5'4", and at my heaviest weight was 194.8. Last year about 11 months ago I was at my then heaviest weight of 194.5, and between August and December of 2009, very slowly went down to 186. I wasn't really trying, and I don't know what held me back. So on June 3 of this year I decided to start again, and was shocked that I had gained it back plus a little more.
So far I have lost three pounds. Not very much but at least it's a start. I tried to go without keeping track of food intake but I discovered that it's vital (for me anyway), because otherwise I really don't realize how many calories I am eating. So I decided to join WeightWatchers again on June 22. My first week on WW is almost up and on that plan so far I have lost 2.2 pounds. I can easily tell that I'm doing much better with WW then on my own.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello. I'm going to start a diary now (something I neglected to do last time) which I think will be helpful. I have already taken some before pics in a bikini but will NOT be posting those for awhile, lol, until I have some progress to show.
