I've lost 55 pounds in the last year with walking, watching what I eat and homeworks. Once you squeeze in the time to do it then it becomes easier and you look forward to it. Find time to walk and use the stairs. It is amazing how much a person can walk in a day if they put their mind to it. Good luck.

hey thanks for the tips , we live in england so it isnt much to do here lol

I seem to remember that you have to make 5 posts before they let you send a PM. At least that was the case when I joined the forum.

Most people send and recieve messages via their diaries. You could start a diary. Also you could post a message in the diary of anyone that you want to contact.

I am in England too!

I agree that walking will help you to lose weight. In fact - I am certainly no expert but I think that if you did some definite walking it would help more than doing that kind of number of sit-ups. I think that the sit-ups mainly improve your tummy muscles to help you carry the weight that you have better. I suspect that you would have to do a lot more situps than that to build muscle to help burn fat.

I have lost quite a lot of weight over the past year and walking a lot has been the secret behind my weight loss. You can buy a pedometer really cheaply and you can wear it all the time. That way you can see if you are walking enough to keep you healthy. A lot of experts agree that we would all be healthier if we increased our walking to 10,000 steps a day. If you wear a pedometer you can see how many steps you are doing and you can work towards increasing it.

The good thing is that you do not need to go to a gym to walk and if you wear a pedometer the steps that you do at work all add up towards your total for the day.

Good luck.

Best wishes
Margaret
