Hey guys, I'm HiddenWolf, though I go as Wolfy on the internet as my nickname. I'm 15 years old, a girl and as embarrassing as this is to say I'm 267 lbs and I've come to this board to try and find ways to lose weight, how to stay on track and keep track of my stuff, plus find other people going through the same issues as I am. I'm new to this and please don't be rude ~ Thank you :3

It's nice to meet you Wolfy. ^_^ Are you finding that you have support from those you live with too?

@Sunflower- Well, when we did move which is in about the next month or so I planned on joining a local YMCA and other weight clinics for children and teenagers. I wanted to started doing some kind of cardio up there but while I wait I've been riding my bike more and started doing curl ups.

@Emerald- I know that my mom is supportive of me considering she's in the same situation as I am but I'm not so sure about her boyfriend or my actual father who is always doubting me.

Hey Wolfy, welcome to the forum!

It's great to hear that you have a plan for joining the YMCA and that you have a plan in place for exercising while you wait to move! Great job!

Support is very important for anyone trying to become healthier, but when it comes down to it, you need want to do this for yourself.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress :)

increase what you know is good for you

fruits veggies soaked nuts and seeds. Treat yourself with pizza chocolate ect. no more than 3-4 meals a week. The rest of your 3 meals and two snacks need to be healthy. The benefit of you being young is you probably won't have saggy skin after:)

I totally disagree with this. This is much too often.

Anyway welcome. Good move to join the YMCA weight loss group.

Try not to take any notice of adults and others who are trying to undermine your efforts. Stayed tuned in to positive useful messages and tune out the garbage.

I don't eat alot of junk food. We rarely have the stuff to be honest with you. I drink alot of water (i mean alot o_o), when the opportunities around I eat healthy stuff (bananas, apples, strawberrys, etc), we don't eat out at fast food places or out in that fact (haven't been to one in about 4 months >_<). I think the main reason I'm the weight I am is just being L A Z Y and I have a hard time finding motivation when exercising, stress, and how the food is prepared. (my dad cooks most of the food and he fries it or something like that).

But back to the topic, thanks for all the warm welcomes and I hope to get started on my official exercising when we do move. I've been working out every now and then at home now, but the serious stuff is gonna come down the road. I'll start up a journal/diary thing to keep track. And maybe if I achieve my goal a full body picture now and a full body picture later showing my progress visually :3

Hi hidden, its nice to meet you. I'm a year older than you eh, so I totally know what you're going through, its a tough age to deal with. Remember to keep your self-esteem up during this trial, I preach this more than ANYTHING... my weight didn't start falling off when I was obsessing over how skinny the cheerleaders were, it started when I realized my own beauty : ) So no, it is not embarrassing. Be PROUD you are a big girl & beautiful. I'm a big girl, and I'm proud to admit it. Do not be ashamed or embarrassed. Ever. You're doing this because you want to & to be healthier, and most of all, because you just CAN! :D

Hey Wolfy,

I wouldn't dream of being rude to you Sweetie. That's good you drink a lot of water. Good Luck on your venture.

Ryc
