Hiya, another newbie here, here is my story.

In feb 2008 I had my tonsils out and after that and a bad break-up with my boyfriend I lost a lot of weight and got down to just 7 stone 10 pounds (108lbs), now a year and five months later I weigh just under 10 stone (140lbs) and I hate it.

I have recently been so depressed about my weight. I eat well, I'm partially vegetarian (only meat I eat is fish) and I don't eat bread or potatoes but I think my main problem is the time I eat. For instance, this morning I didn't eat until nearly 2pm and I had a slimfast breakfast bar and at about 6pm I ate 5 big slices of pizza and a side (not that I do it often, am babysitting my boyfriends little brother and his mum left money for food).

So my goal weight is 8 stone or just under (112lbs) which I think is perfect for my height which is 5ft 4ins.

So that is me !!! I'm looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully losing some weight and gaining some confidence as I am sooo low right now I can barely bring myself to get dressed in the morning ! :banghead:
 
Hi Goldie. Welcome to the board. :)

I suspect that you might be right about your eating habits. I find that if I skip meals or try to substitute diet drinks or diet bars, I get so hungry by the evening that I eat way too much.

Factually it doesn't matter if you eat a bunch of small meals or one big meal, as long as you eat a reasonable number of healthy calories. But for a lot of people, timing is everything and making sure that you're not so starving that you overeat is important.

One thing that might help is to start a diary in the journal section .. you'll get a lot of encouragement and help that way. :)
