for start why don't you read through the sticky threads a bit, open your diary when you're ready, read though other people diaries. you made the first step :)

I will take your advice and read as much of the forums as I can. I only have about 20 pounds to lose (thank God!). But I have been struggling with them for quite a while now. I can lose 4 or 5 pounds and that's all and then quickly put them back on. I am now thinking I just want to take my time, lose the weight slowly and learn to do it the healthy way. It's not like I don't know what healthy foods to eat, it just seems complicated getting the right portions of protein, carbs and fat to work together to safely lose the weight.

I'm hoping to get a lot of pointers from others on this forum. This is my first time joining one of these for weight loss tips.
