Allo, allo, bonjour, guten tag.

My name is Jes. I've been heavyset my entire life (I come from a pretty heavy family) and felt utterly terrible physically and emotionally. Last year I was up to my heaviest - 275 pounds - and at 5'3" that's pretty obvious. I kickstarted my weight loss plan and am now 180. I've kind of plateau'd, so I'm here for tips and hopefully I can share some of my own. :)

In other words, what's up?

That's almost 100 pounds you've lost! That's a whole person! I'd give you tips, but you must already be doing something right. Welcome to the forum.

congrats, that is amazing weight loss. :)
If you have slowed down then maybe you need to watch your food intake a bit more closely. Do you weigh your food and work out the calories? If not then try to keep a food journal. After losing so much weight maybe you have got a bit complacent and aren't being so careful what you eat.
If your eating is ok then maybe you need to step up the exercise.
Keep at it anyway and you will start losing weight again. You have obviously been doing it right for a long while now, well done. :)

Hi there. Just wanted to say I like your username. Does it happen to be an Agatha Christie reference? I LOVE her books. Good luck to you on your journey!
