Get your parents to help again and just keep reminding yourself, there is no point in hiding food from them.
You are only cheating yourself.
Everything that you have asked, you have the answer to already and there is no magic answer...
I too am loosing weight, and I went to a forum about it because I was so depressed, but then I realised instead of sitting at a computer with a biscut asking people how to get thin, I should have just been doing it.
Get up and go for a walk round the block...
Another thing that helps me, If I crave something it's because I'm hungry, you don't tend to crave things that are bad for you whern you are full, So.... tell your self you can have that cake after you eat something healthy.
That way you either won't want it when the time comes, or won't eat as much as you would have if you were famished.
Works well, have 2 bannannas and an apple, then see if you still want to munch that cake,
