Hey, hey! :D

Hey everyone.

My name is Stuart and Im a 22 year old Musician form Joburg, South Africa.

Three weeks ago I decided to get in shape after a girl at on of my gigs yelled "Take your shirt off!" There was no way I would do that with a body like mine so I decide that next time I hear that I will take my shirt off! Probably really stupid motivation but its motivation non the less!

I started off with changing my diet slightly and getting a bit more exercise (weight training). I cut out coffee, (which I always have sugar with and drink up to 10 cups per day!) and replaced it with water and just generally stayed away from junk food as much as possible. I don't know how but with so little effort I have lost 3kgs (6.6lbs) so far!!

Surprisingly I feel unhappy and with my results so Im pushing the diet and weight training even harder. Ive also started jogging and since Ive enjoyed that so much after the short 3 days that I've been hitting the streets I feel motivated to run a 10k by next year.
Because I have a few days per week were I have very little time to exercise I decided Id give HIIT training a go for these days. My first session was today and I only lasted 5 minutes! That stuff is crazy! Tomorrow I aim for 6 minutes.

So far I feel great but I want to feel even better.

I have tried losing weight and getting in shape before but Ive never felt so good about it as I do now.
So I figured that since I know pretty much know nothing about diet and exercise I had best join a forum for support and hopefully the questions google can't answer.
