Hello i am 19 170cm 77KG

my BMI is overweight. I really want to lose around 7kg in the space of 2 months (8weeks). Specifically i want to look physically thiner as currently i feel very uncomfterable in clothes etc. I always wear lots of layers. The reason for this is mainly my big waist. It is very large and it is quite visable in just t-shirts etc.

So anyway like i said i am trying to lose 7 kg which is around 15 pounds in the next 2 months.

Can anyone suggest a PRACTICAL diet i could go on.. excerising wont be a problem as i am actually qutie good at running and my stamina isnt all that bad and i already have plans for that.

The diet needs to be specific foods that i can get from supermarkets/ things i can get easily and regularly (and not too expensive) Will going on some kind of cornflakes/ cereal diet help? with that il have fruits and drink lots of water

thanks:hat:

You are only slightly overweight. I think an initial goal of 5 kg in 8 weeks would be a better target. 1-2 lbs per week is the recommended rate of weight loss that is deemed to be safe.
It would be a good idea to start a journal on here to track what you are eating and your workouts - that way other members can give you some tips and advice.
I am glad that you find it easy to exercise - many people struggle in that area, so you are well on your way already!!
As for your eating - you need to pick something that you can continue for the rest of your life - not just something to get the weight off. Once it is off you still need to maintain. It is better to make small changes in your diet that you can do for the long term, so unfortunately a cereal diet is not a good option. Make sure you are drinking enough water. You may also want to eliminate any soda and alcohol in that you normally consume. Be sure to eat a balanced diet (veggies, lean protien, whole grains, fruits, good fats, etc.) You should eat at regular intervals, some people suggest every 3 hours - you will need to find what works for you.

Explore this site and other people's journals - there are also tabs at the side that are full of valuable information.

Congratulations on wanting to become healthy!! You are on the right track and came to the right place to stay motivated and get assistance!!! :)
