I don't need to loose weight, I know i just want to try and get rid of the layer of fat on my chest and over my pecs. I have a 6 pack coming through as i can feel the muscles clearly when sit down and tense my chest.

I also would like to know if there are any good supplements that could help me on my way to that nice body. Also i'm having problems with my right shoulder, before I take on working out more should i get this check by my doc?

Thank and i look forward to talking to you. :newbie:

Yes, see a doctor about your shoulder.

You need to eat clean and have a surplus of calories to gain muscles. Also I suggest heavy compound training. You may have to start really easy for the first month or more just to get your body ready for the heavy lifting. Just start with light weight to practice form then move up to a moderate weight. With your build you will probably see results in a month just eating right and using the light to moderate weights.

Some Training programs:

New Rules of Lifting

Strong Lifts 5x5 ebook, and what I'm using....start with just the bar...ask at he gym about your form or how to do something. feel free to vid it so we can check your form)

If you need to strengthen that shoulder look into doing dive bomber-pushups. Low reps.

focus on solid foods not sups...but you could add whey protein to bump your protien intake (tray food to get there first)

Welcome to the forum. :D

Your bodyfat level looks pretty low already. IMO you should bulk. Eat a healthy meal 5 or 6 times per day and follow a good routine and you can have the body you want.

Yes get your shoulder checked out right away if its a problem. This way it wont get worse. Also, make sure your form is good so you know thats not whats hurting it.

Welcome!

Everyboddyyy wants the huge arms :p.

Get a good routine (as suggested) and make sure your diet is check. You definitely need to add muscle first, so work on eating over maintenance, but MAKE SURE you don't eat crap. This is even more important when gaining weight rather than losing, otherwise you will not be happy with the results.

Haven't even started yet and you're looking for supplements? Not good. Eat clean, lift hard, rest easy.

However, I will recommend that a multi and fish oil can probably only help you. You could also add whey if you so desire. Notice that I placed that after the multi and fish oil :). That's because I think that you should attempt to get all your protein from whole foods and you must realize that whey is a supplement, cannot replace food, and is simply a convenience.
