Hey Guys!

I have been struggling to get below 200 for quite some time. In fact, I have struggled with my weight all my life, just hitting 224 and being miserable and having horrible self esteem made me wake up and motivated to want to stop my weight issues for good! I am 26, engaged, and a grad student so time is not my friend. I tend to eat pretty healthy, but could watch it more.

I have been working out with a trainer at the gym for about a year, but only managed to lose 10 pounds overall. Im sure it was more, but between gaining and losing, stopping and starting, it has only shown 10 on the scale from start to now. I have learned a lot of going strength and resistance training exercises so if I get focused and apply them I should be able to get my butt in gear.

I dont have many support people around here, so am looking to the online community to keep me focused and interested in results more then my next beer.

Thanks!

BTW- How do I start a journal on here?

under the Diet and Motivation tab, click Weight Loss Diary, and Start New Thread... :)

welcome and good luck!
