Hey, my names Siro. I'm 22 and I live in New Zealand.
Just a little background info. I live on a farm with my parents (university is 2mins away, so very handy). I've grown up my whole life being active in many varieties of sports and on the farm. When I was 16 I made it to the New Zealand academy for football, and at 17 I moved to England to attend Filton College in Bristol, England for further education and the chance to impress on the football front.
However, it was not to be as 2 months into training, I got a serious back injury while at training. Long story short, 5 back operations later and 4yrs of pain, I put on a fair bit of weight. From 71kg (156pound) and running 10km in the moring and 6km at night, to 105kg (231pound) and not being able to do 2km.
I joined this forum to help me get back to my goal weight of 71kg. It's always good to surround yourself by people who understand
So yeah.
First goal is to get down to 100kg, then take it in 10kg lots. Good luck to everyone else in their targets
