Hello! I'm Ashley. Nice to meet everyone. I decided to join this forum because I'm very interested in fitness and proper dieting. I am 22 yrs old and a part time employee. Needless to say, I have a ton of time on my hands before I get back into school. I hope I get some helpful advice so I can get on some kind of routine. I tend to just exercise whenever I can (and feel like it--DOH!). I come to realize I really need the motivation because I do not have anyone to exercise with so it does get lonely fast.

My main goal is to shape my legs. I have pretty big legs for someone that is 5'7 and 127lbs. :\

This is my first time here so any help or guidance at all will greatly be appreciated :)

Thank you, everyone!

5'7 and 127 Lbs sounds like a really healthy weight to me... I guess it depends on your frame. I've always heard that a "normal" weight for a 5 foot tall woman is 100 Lbs and for every inch over 5 feet you add an extra 5 Lbs. So your normal weight would be around 135 Lbs. Again, frame and muscle mass would affect your weight so it's just a guideline.

You can't really shrink one body part all by itself. If you want smaller legs you'll have to lose a few pounds by exercising and eating less. For toning your legs, lunges and squats are excellent and my least favorite... running. Runners have such nice legs.
