hey everyone :)

i am currently trying to get myself into a habit of working out...but it's hard, because i'm lazy. i am relatively thin i suppose, i'm 5'10" and about 143ish pounds. i am very small up top, more heavy through the stomach-hips-thighs area...you can call me a pear...i'm not very much in shape and i'd definitely like to be...i want to lose the vanity pounds through my heavier areas..perhaps replace the fat with lean muscle mass. i'd also like to tone up my arms...they are too flabby for a 25 year old who isn't considered chubby (well, other people don't consider me that anyway...but don't worry, i don't have body issues...i'm just trying to become the perfect version of myself while i'm still young).

basically i have a love for food...and i always seem to be hungry...i think i might have a high metabolism, where it burns off the food i eat quite well...but the stored fat from the past 10 years or so is pretty stubborn. i'm currently stuck living at home with my parents with no job & no car...so i have to rely on working out at home. a few times a week i try to make it on the treadmill for a 30-40 minute walk (i am seriously bad at running)...but it doesn't seem to be doing much, especially since i haven't been doing is as much as i should.

my mother wants to order the wii fit (although it seems to be sold out everywhere)...and i'm very excited about that, i think i would make me exercise more often if it were fun. also...i am thinking of taking up yoga...all i have is a beginners dvd, but i figure that's fine to start. i'm also thinking of picking up some dance work out dvds, since that would pertain to my interests and make working out more enjoyable.

does anyone have any tips on flattening the stomach and slimming out the hips/lovehandles/butt&thighs area?

my parents have a bender ball with the dvds...does anyone know if that works? i've tried it once, but found it kind of annoying. i'll go back to it, if people think it's a good program for the abs...

thank yoooou!

you can't target specific areas in fat loss you can reduce your overall body fat level by doing resistance training and a good nutrition plan also with getting into a routine try start working out one day a week then build up your level of fitness and determination before you get into a full routine. if you find running hard try other cardiovascular work like swimming or bike riding.. when your fitness level is up more and money allows i would invest in a gym membership as this allows you evaluations of your progress an how you can make your progress better and more productive to your individual needs

if you need any more info pm me
